Nexium 24hr was the first ever project / campaign (4 spots total) I had the pleasure of leading at Gentleman Scholar. I worked on it from the early pitch phase through to the very end, which was a new experience for me (prior, I had mostly just been handing off designs to animators).
I had the chance to design and set up characters for animation, design full storyboards for 4 spots (with immense help from JP Rooney, Hana Yean, & Nick Iluzada), animate elements, and help put together 4 conforms. It was my first time leading a full team (with Matt Andrews as lead animator), as well as interacting with clients and assessing feedback.
I am extremely fortunate to be surrounded by such talented art directors, designers, and animators that helped push me forward through this process. In a million years, I never would have expected to take on a project/role of this scale within my first couple years at Scholar. But there is absolutely no way I could have done it without the help and guidance of my peers. I learned so much along the way - I definitely did not do this alone.
